Go to ebay.com and click register in the top left corner. Registration is FREE.
You are required to give your name, address (including country), primary telephone number, email address and then asked to create an eBay user ID and password.

What is the name of your first school? What is your pet’s name? What is your father’s middle name? What is your school’s mascot? After selecting the secret question you are asked to provide Your secret answer. According to eBay "If you forget your password, we'll verify your identity with your secret question."
Next you are asked your date of birth.
To finish the process, you enter a verification code shown on the page, and you check that you agree with the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
You will be sent an email from eBay with the title: Complete your eBay registration. You are required to click a button that says "Activate Now" or use a provided link and code to complete your registration.
Once registration is complete you are taken to a welcome page that says something like: “Welcome Johne Turke! You’re now registered as eBay memer jturke.”
Having a PayPal account can make trading easier on eBay. If you don’t have a PayPal account it is recommended that you sign up from the link on the welcome page. Your email address and home address will be automatically filled out but you have the option to change this information.
AS AN EBAY MEMBER WHERE DO I START?
Browse the 35 eBay categories and get a feel for what others are selling.
Look at how each category is subdivided into more specific groups.
Spend some time browsing auctions for items you want to sell in the future.
HINT: When you click on an auction look for Watch this item in the top right corner. This is a great tool if you want to monitor different items to see what the final bid price will be. eBay will notify you by email when the auction is about to end. A list of all the auctions you are watching and the auctions that have ended can be viewed in My eBay.
Before you sell your first item on eBay, you are required to set up a seller's account. To do so you must:
Provide a valid credit/debit card, bank account information or become ID Verified. Let eBay know how you would like to pay your seller fees. Select the payment methods you'll accept. Make sure your Feedback Profile is public.
When you list an item on eBay, you're charged an insertion fee. If the item sells, you're also charged a final value fee. The basic cost of selling an item is the insertion fee plus the final value fee.
The basic fee structure depends on the type of listing—auction-style or fixed price format—you use.
All fees are in U.S. dollars.
The fees described on this page apply to all categories except eBay Motors, Real Estate, and Classified Ads.
